I’m Abigail Findlay. Most people call me Abi.

My background is leadership within the creative and brand industries. I’ve worked with Nike, Apple, Warner Music Group, Wieden+Kennedy, The Girl Effect, and Stella McCartney.

Over the past 12 years, I’ve consulted brands and creative agencies as a Managing Director or General Manager—helping to launch new ventures, turn businesses around, or add new products and services. My experience spans both commercial and non-profit sectors, and I’ve worked with brands across Africa, Europe, and the US.

For the past six years, I’ve been deepening my understanding of brain science and the psychology of human relationships across the life course - applying learnings from both my professional life and my personal life.

I am also a Partner at Grace & Co, a marketing and commerce consultancy that guides businesses through the new and unknown. My work with Grace enables me to stay ‘in the arena’ of business, so I remain in touch with many of the challenges and opportunities that current marketing and brand leadership brings.

I am an ICF-accredited coach and a certified workplace mediator (ONS).

A Few Things I Know to Be True

Working women lead the most complex lives on the planet.

Human creativity has a vital and growing role to play in the future of society.

Good leadership is just as important at home as it is at work -perhaps even more so.

It is possible for women to have their cake and eat it: to be brilliant at work, raise secure and emotionally intelligent children, and build supportive, thriving personal relationships. It’s not easy- but it is possible.

Looking Ahead

In the future, I’m considering setting up a think tank to conduct original research and develop new policy in support of women leaders. I’m also exploring the creation of a widely accessible, academically rigorous platform on emotional intelligence - bringing together evidence-based knowledge for real-world application.
